Instructions to make Moong Dal Toast:
- Wash the dal nicely and soak it for at least 4 hrs.
- After 4 hrs wash the dal once again and drain the water completely. In a grinder add dal,ginger, green chillies and ajwain and grind..if required addd1 -2 spoons of water.
- Remove the batter in a bowl. Add chopped onions, chopped coriander, chopped tomatoes, grated carrot,jeera, hint, salt, red chilli powder and mix well.
- Take a bread slice and spread the batter evenly on one side of bread.
- Sprinkle some sesame seeds.Take a pan and apply some oil and keep the batter applied side of bread on pan.
- Cook on low flame till nice golden in colour.Flip and cook from other side too by putting few drops of oil. I have applied the batter on one side but you can apply on both sides.
- Serve hot with chutney or tomato ketchup. Yummy and healthy breakfast is ready..
